Common equipment for soil and groundwater remediation

Investigation equipment: its main function is to sampling, to understand the type, concentration and distribution of pollutants in soil and underground water. It doesn’t seem very different from an ordinary drill, but in fact, due to different requirements, the difference is still great. Many pollutants are volatile, and the key to sampling is to remove soil samples from various depths for inspection purposes. Incineration equipment: countries like the United States often burn the oil contaminated soil, so only need to deal with the exhaust, relatively simple and efficient, but the combustion equipment is expensive, the cost is not low, although it is generally not suitable for Chinese, but is very effective in some occasions.

Thermal desorption equipment: similar to incineration equipment, but the temperature is lower, heating volatile pollutants and processed, more environmentally friendly than incineration.

Soil leaching equipment: the essence of this equipment is sand washing machine commonly used in the sand industry. By adding detergent, the pollutants are separated from the soil, so that only you can remove pollutants in wastewater treatment.

Soil dumping equipment: some pollutants only need to be ventilated and can be degraded. Therefore, it is necessary to dig and pile up contaminated soil and turn it regularly. Because of the lack of special equipment, often replaced by agricultural equipment.

Soil remediation equipment: used to evenly add chemicals to the soil to make the pollutants evaporate or solidify.
