What is soil solidification technology

Soil solidification / stabilization technology is to fix pollutants in the polluted medium and make them in a long-term stable state. It is a widely used method for rapid control and remediation of heavy metal pollution in soil. It has obvious advantages in dealing with multiple heavy metal contaminated soil simultaneously. The key to this technology is the choice of fixative and stabilizer. At present, the most widely used fixing agent is cement. The research reports include stabilizer, fly ash, lime alum slurry, ettringite, asphalt, steel slag, rice husk ash, zeolite, mostly alkaline substances, can improve the pH value of the system. Can produce hydroxide precipitation and heavy metal reaction.

For example, CCT heavy metal stabilizing agents have 3 categories of chemicals, and different types of stabilizing remediation agents are selected for different heavy metal contaminated soils. Among them, CCT01 is a pervasive for heavy metal pollution in non change most of the Cu, Zn, Ni, Ag, Hg, Fe etc. the stabilizing agent.CCT02 is a kind of heavy metal pollution and stable for the oxidation of trivalent arsenic and postprocessing of agent, and CCT03 is suitable for six chromium to heavy metals pollution reduction agent of stable postprocessing. To determine whether a method of soil stabilization is effective for contaminated soil can be evaluated from two aspects: the physical properties of the treated soil and the resistance to the leaching of the contaminated material.
